| Description: | Administers medications in accordance with facility policy and state and federal regulations. Accurately administers all assigned treatments in accordance with facility policy and state and federal regulations.

| Duties: | Assists the Charge Nurse with documentation and other duties as necessary. Performs the function of hall charge nurse, responsible for CNA performance of documentation using AccuNurse and specific CNA responsibilities regarding resident care. Communicates effectively with members of the staff, residents and families. Utilizes principles of safety in all aspects of job performance.

| Qualifications: | Successful applicants will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, possessing either a Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing. Former medical/surgical and geriatric experience preferred. Demonstrates good managerial skills in an extended care facility. CPR certification preferred. Previous geriatric experience is a plus. Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age if supervisory responsibilities on designated shift are required.
